- Sony Xperia C4 / C5 users DO NOT flash with SonyMobileFlasher. Flashing will lead to bricked device.
- Use FSC when flashing Xperia m5. Otherwise, it will lead to bricked device.
- Avoid process related to your sony device while rooting process.
- Update / reinstall the fresh copy of an application or try using a different version of the tool.

Sony Xperia Flashing / Rooting Tutorial – How to root with Sony MobileFlasher
- Make sure you have correct firmware, Latest and updated tools, USB drivers and enough battery life (70% +)
- Download and install the flashing tool ( upgrade to the latest version )
- unzip the firmware (ROM) according to your Xperia device
- Open the flashing tool and Click FLASH button (upper-left corner, lightning symbol)
- Choose the bootmode from dialog box –> Flashmode –> OK
- Find and Load the Xperia firmware file.
- Pick the loaded firmware and click FLASH button to start the flashing process.
- Switch off your sony device.
- Connect the device to PC while pressing and holding the Volume Down button.
- You will see ADDED message after connecting Xperia device to PC.
- Flashing process will start and it will take 3- 15 minutes to complete.
- Disconnect the device from PC and switch it on. !!
